David NorrisSince joining the BVCC in February 09 and after receiving a Nikon D60 as a birthday gift in October 08 I haven't stopped taking pictures, In fact I can't get enough. I love it and coupled with a love of the outdoors it's a match made in heaven.

The natural world is what does it for me, I've really enjoyed capturing images of nature, the flora and fauna and of cause other areas of interest include landscape.

But it never ceases to amaze me, how a camera with its features (zoom, aperture, focus and speed) can capture an image and make something so beautiful, so everlasting. Sure, at times it can take some fairly hard work, patients and a far amount of tenacity but at other times it just falls in your lap. I guess that's way others love it too.

To me photography is such a wonderful thing, because it captures each individual photographer, for many different reasons. It's something that can't really be explained and thankfully nor should it.

Happy Photography
